Is this the system people work in, or something bolted on?
PwC describes mission-criticality and workflow gravity, where “agents layer on top rather than replace.”
Is the data genuinely yours?
PwC separates proprietary

context

from proprietary data: “curated knowledge graphs, validated playbooks, and customer-specific configurations.”
Could the customer now build it themselves?
PwC: “AI lowers friction to build.”
How do you charge?
PwC: “seat-based pricing is under structural pressure.” Gartner: agentic systems “deliver outcomes directly, bypassing traditional UX-heavy applications.”
The question they leave out

All four questions focus on the supplier. A fifth is worth asking: what is happening with the supplier’s customers?
